To Students

Please read the following information carefully regarding eligibility and application guidelines.

Undergraduate Students

If you are a student currently enrolled in a university or vocational school and studying public health or related subjects, you can participate in the general assembly for a registration fee of 1,000 yen. It is not necessary for student participants to be members of the Japan Society of Public Health. However, if you wish to submit an abstract, you need to complete the membership registration (free of charge) and register for the conference. The abstract submission fee will be waived.

Graduate Students

If you are a student currently enrolled in a graduate school and studying public health or related subjects, you can participate in the general assembly with a registration fee waiver of 5,000 yen. It is not necessary for graduate student participants to be members of the Japan Society of Public Health.

Procedure for Student and Graduate Student Participants

1. Complete the online pre-registration process.
   Enter your personal information and open the email sent to your registered address. Click on the URL provided in the email to authenticate your registration.
2. On the payment screen, select the appropriate participation category under "Registration Type".
3. Upload your student ID in the designated field at the bottom of the screen.
4. Proceed with the payment of the registration fee (via credit card or bank transfer).

Details of the Procedure

1. Eligibility
• ① Student currently enrolled in a university (including graduate school) or vocational school and studying public health or related subjects as of May 1, 2023.
• ② If the student is submitting an abstract as the presenting author, they must not have any outstanding membership fees owed to the Japan Society of Public Health.
2. Registration Deadlines
   Pre-registration: August 31, 2023 (Tuesday) 　※For abstract submission, May 23, 2023 (Tuesday)
   On-site registration: November 2, 2023 (Thursday)
