Free Meeting

A free meeting is organized to facilitate wide-ranging discussions on public health-related issues and promote interaction among health professionals and researchers based on the participants' preferences.

Important Notes

• The representative should register in advance for the general meeting.
• The meeting is open to all participants and excludes private or non-academic gatherings such as alumni associations, religious activities, and training sessions or workshops that involve unit accreditation.
• The representative should be a certified specialist in the Japanese Society of Public Health. Please provide the specialist number on the application form.
• You can check the specialist list of the Japanese Society of Public Health through the following link: Public Health Society Certified Specialist List.
• There are no plans for online hosting of the free meeting.
• If you wish to have a hybrid meeting, the following conditions apply:
  1. The implementation should be under the responsibility of the representative.
  2. URLs should not be provided to a large number of unspecified participants.
  3. The list of online participants should be submitted after the event.
• Regarding venue usage, participants will be required to bear a portion of the venue fees. After the venue is determined, a invoice will be sent to the person responsible for the application. The amount may vary depending on the venue size.

• ※In the event of an infectious situation, the number of participants at the venue may be limited. Please note that the reduction of the fee is not applicable in such cases.

• Please refrain from planning a free meeting with more than 150 participants.
• The organizers should arrange the necessary items for the meeting. If self-arrangement is difficult, please contact the organizing secretariat (Convention Plus Co., Ltd.) in advance. The use of screens, projectors, etc. incurs additional charges.
  • ※Please note that it may not be possible to accommodate all requests due to venue constraints or other factors.
• Within one week after the free meeting concludes, it is required to submit a list of participants and an implementation report (template available here).
• Contact information of the representative will be posted on the website as the point of contact for free meeting participants. Please be aware of this in advance.
